I like Ivan's idea of using: Tactrix openport 2.0 passthru device, DTS Monaco license, Xentry, WIS (workshop information sustem) and a laptop PC. Having a scan tool could solve these types of issues. Windows 7 is dump and makes duplicate files which has caused issues for some people. On Windows 7, don't install EvoScan or ECUFlash in the Program Files directory. If that shows, the drivers should be installed correctly. I have read horror stories of vans going into limp mode just because a wrong light bulb was installed or the EGR valve needed cleaning. It will say something like 'Tactrix Openport 2.0' in the bottom right corner of the screen. Using bidirectional controls can be very useful trying to diagnose what is working and what is not working. I have read that scan tools in the wrong hands willl turn your Sprinter into a lawn ornament. I have read through hours of these threads and so far I have Not found anyone claiming they have such and such and it WORKS! Vehicle: 02 WRX 08 OBXT 08 G37 (S/Cd) 09 XF. That being said, I am still looking for the best scan tool for a 2020 USA Sprinter. I had just laid down Big Bucks for a new Dell computer and I was feeling like I had just been swindled and scammed with everything crashing down inside it! Well, it has been a month now and I still have my bank account and everything is intact! First I want to Apologize to Rob Cote and Ivan Borisovich in a previous thread for my bad language.
